Campaign Finance Law on Behalf of Candidate Committees and Political Action Committees, Including Independent Expenditure Political Action Committees (“IE PACs”), Which Are Also Called Super PACs
My practice concentrates in matters relating to Massachusetts state government, with a particular focus on campaign finance, public authorities, and regulatory agencies.
I provide advice to the political committees of candidates (both Democratic and Republican) for statewide office in Massachusetts and represent such committees in their dealings with the Office of Campaign and Political Finance and the Massachusetts Department of the Attorney General. I provide advice to the candidate with respect to the Massachusetts conflict-of-interest law. I have experience with ballot recounts.
I provide advice with respect to the organization of independent expenditure political action committees (“IE PACs”), which are also called Super PACs.
As counsel to public authorities, I provide advice and representation to the authority with respect to its relationship with other public entities and its relationship with private entities. I also represent private entities in their dealings with public authorities.
I represent private entities in their dealings with Massachusetts regulatory agencies (e.g., insurance, banking, professional licensing).
